SPOILER ALERT: Watch out for the mother, beliefs are more important than family.
The Dangerous Art of Blending in is a book that's about a young boy that struggles to blend in when it comes to his family. His mother has strong beliefs that to her are more important than the love for her own child. The father doesn't know how to stand up for himself and when things start to go wrong with his son and wife, he finally starts to protect his son, because if he didn't then his son would be dead.
I know some people don't like this book. I on the other and loved it to pieces. This book was very well written and it didn't sugar coat the way some families can be when it comes to what some people have grown up with, their sexual orientation, and family violence. I think this book is important because it spreads the need to show some light on topics that aren't talked about enough.
I highly recommend this book to everyone, I would even recommend it to my cat.

I have just finished the 3rd book in Richelle Mead's series "The Vampire Academy". I loved this book so much...
Too many things happened all at once and I loved every moment. I loved Rose and Dimitri so much. I can't believe what happened which I won't say due to spoilers for other people that want to read this book but know that it will tear you apart inside.
Richelle Mead is amazing and her writing style is so easy to follow which is why I'm loving this series so much. I very excited to read her other series Blood Lines which I'm pretty sure involves Lisa still.
Lisa and Christian are so cute together by the way.
Ralf sounded like an asshole btw.

So today's review is on the book The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. Yes I know that I'm way behind the program when it comes to reviews, but I have only just joined this website and want to write reviews for books that I have currently already read, no matter how long ago I read the book.
So this book I generally enjoyed, more so than Green's other books. I do like his other work but I just like the humour in this book more than the others. ANYWAY.
Hazel Grace Lancaster (Sorry but I'm horrible at spelling names so I'm sorry if it is wrong, do correct me if needed!) meets a cute boy named Augustus Waters at this support group and they fall madly in love.
During their time of falling in love, they Hazel turns Augustus into a major fan man over this book she also really likes. To be honest I do this with other,I make people read the books I really like and cried over just so I can watch them cry as well. Is that weird? BACK TO THE REVIEW.
Augustus finds out that his cancer is worse and has to get treated again. Doesn't tell Hazel straight away. When he passes Hazel is so heart broken. She finally had someone and that person was taken away by cancer. I really like Augustus so this death did sting a little.
So this book is written beautifully. I really like John Green's writing style but other people don't. But hey you can't impress everyone.
OVERALL A GOOD BOOK!
So I was on my break at work today, I saw that I had money from after putting money away and decided it was a good idea to buy myself a hot chocolate and two new books. Why did I do that... Who knows but the books were pretty cool as well...
You don't know how many times I have gone onto Book Depository, select the books I'm wanting to buy/read but never go through with the payment. I have such a big TBR pile because when I'm in bookstores, I just struggle to NOT buy a book or two.
I'm probably not the only one that does this- goes online, online bookstore, sees books they really wanna read, makes up a basket and then cries to themselves when they don't have the money to go through with the payment.
[[ This happens like a couple times a week for me ]]
Enjoy my little rant!
I'm extremely happy with how this book is going. Again I didn't think I was going to enjoy this read just because I'm not normally into books that involve fantasy aka vampires. BUT Richelle Mead has a way with words, her writing style is amazing and it keeps making me want to read another chapter when I should probably be getting on with my day. So in other words, this is such a great read, I can't wait to read the other 3 books in this series even though I don't want it to end...
So...
Vassa in the Night by Sarah Porter. I'm sorry if this review hurts someones feelings!
I did not like this book. It took me quite awhile to read this book because I just couldn't understand what was happening throughout the book. The whole concept of the book was interesting though,I'll give the author that.
This is the type of book I wouldn't normally buy myself, this was the book that I received in the a book subscription service. The other items in the book I found quite cool, the books description I thought was cool and interesting a different from what I normally read.
Once I started reading I knew that I was going to struggle with it. It had these weird characters like this moving hands, a building that had chicken feet at night the would his the store into the air because it's magic. Literally anyone that left the store was going to be killed. Vassa had a magic doll as well. Just the whole idea of the book made me want to DNf it but I didn't I finished the book and it was painful. I'm sorry if other people enjoyed this book but I didn't. I'm sorry if the author ever finds this book review, I guess not all books are for you, this book just wasn't my cup of tea but I'm sure other people enjoyed it.
So the way i read my books, If I'm reading a series and I'm really enjoying, I like to read a stand alone book between each book in a series. So after I've finished reading Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead, I'm going to read The Dangerous Art of Blending In. After I've read this book I'll read the 4th book in The Vampire Academy Series. Very exciting!
So All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. Stars : 4.5/5.
This book nearly made me cry which is why it's lacking half a star. Sometimes if the book was so good that it nearly made me cry, I don't give it the 5 stars that it deserves. I'm weird like that.
This book was written very well. I was hooked from the moment i finished the first chapter. Violet was a character I could partly relate to, Finch not so much.
I recommend this book to those people that are wanting a nice and easy flowing read. You have to keep in mind that this book does contain topics that involve depression.
Overall: A VERY GOOD BOOK!
Current Read: Shadow Kiss by Michelle Mead.
I don't normally read books that are about vampires but I'm really enjoying this series. It's the 3rd in the series and I can't believe how well written it is. I'm on page 180 out of 444 pages. I'm just cruising through this book happily and I already have the 4th book ready to go. This has been a good reading experience for me.
